Background:
 Felix A. AKINYOSOYE is a Professor of Fermentation Technology. He obtained B. Sc. (Biology) from University of Arkansas, USA in 1977 and M. Sc. (Microbiology) from East Texas State University, Commerce Texas, USA in 1979. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Microbiology in 1985 at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He won several awards including Federal Government of Nigeria Postgraduate Scholarship for M.Sc. and Ph. D. programmes. He was an Awardee of Association of African University Research Grants for a research on Cellulolytic Activity of Microorganisms isolated from some African Forest Soils. He was a member of research group awarded a grant by Federal University of Technology Akure Research Grant to carry out a research on Bioactive Constituents of Mistletoe. Felix Akinsola has supervised several Undergraduates, more than 40 Master’s and 20 Ph. D. students. To his credit, he published more than 70 research articles in Learned Journals and attended more than fifteen conferences. As an External Examiner, he has assessed Undergraduates at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Bowen University, Iwo, Babcock University, Ilishan, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko and Achievers University, Owo, Nigeria. He examined many Postgraduates at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He is a Member of some Professional Bodies including Nigerian Society for Microbiology, Science Association of Nigeria, Nigerian Society for Experimental Biology and Biotechnology Society of Nigeria. He is a Reviewer to Journal of Nigeria Society for Experimental Biology and Journal of Mycological Society of Nigeria.
